Role Overview

The Escrow Officer manages the full escrow process, acting as a neutral third party to ensure all contract terms are met. From opening to closing, you’ll oversee files, resolve issues, and deliver smooth, secure closings.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the escrow transaction from open to close.

  • Act as a neutral third party, facilitating communication between buyers, sellers, lenders, and agents.

  • Prepare, review, and finalize closing documents (settlement statements, CDs, HUDs, deeds, etc.).

  • Properly account for and disburse escrow funds.

  • Resolve issues such as title defects or escrow contingencies.

  • Maintain accurate escrow records and ensure files are audit-ready.

  • Collaborate with escrow assistants, officers, and office leadership to keep every file flowing smoothly.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of escrow officer experience.

  • Strong knowledge of California real estate closing procedures, title insurance, and escrow regulations.

  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.

  • Existing book of business / loyal clientele strongly preferred.

  • Team option: Officer + Assistant team encouraged to apply together.


 Compensation & Growth

Compensation is dependent on experience and clientele, combining a competitive base salary plus commission.

  • Base Pay: Commensurate with escrow experience and production history.
  • Commission: Competative comission plan. 

Total Compensation Potential: $75,000 – $100,000+ annually including commissions and bonuses.
